Preparing for Skin Rejuvenation
With the exception of chemical face peels, no special preparation is needed for our skin rejuvenation treatments. If you have a deep chemical face peel, Dr. Kay may prescribe medication to reduce your risk of developing an infection. He may also recommend special ointments or lotions for your skin prior to the treatment.
Skin Rejuvenation Recovery
Recovery from our skin rejuvenation treatments is different for each procedure. In some cases, such as with light and medium chemical face peels and laser skin rejuvenation, you may have some minor symptoms, such as stinging, peeling, scabbing and redness. Deep chemical peels have the most significant recovery. You will need to remain at home, resting for up to two weeks.
