Radiesse® in Princeton and Monroe, NJ
Some of the most significant signs of aging are deep creases and wrinkles. Radiesse® is specially formulated to treat these cosmetic concerns without surgery! Dr. Scott Kay, FACS, a board-certified New Jersey otolaryngologist, offers Radiesse® treatments at his Central New Jersey area office to residents of Princeton, Monroe and Plainsboro.
What is Radiesse®?
Radiesse®, known as Radiance by some of our patients, is a cosmetic treatment for deeper folds, creases, and wrinkles. These common signs of aging were once treated through surgery, but Radiesse® gives our patients a minimally invasive alternative that produces exceptional results. Radiesse® works by stimulating collagen, a natural substance that restores volume in your skin.
Benefits of Radiesse®
Radiesse® is an effective treatment for advanced signs of aging.
- No downtime
- Minimally invasive
- Treatment takes about 30 minutes
- Effective for deep wrinkles, folds, and creases
- Stimulates natural collagen production in the skin
- Excellent option for patients who want long-lasting results without surgery
How is Radiesse® Administered?
The formulation in Radiesse® contains tiny microspheres that attract collagen. The collagen then binds to the calcium hydroxylapatite in the spheres to restore elasticity and volume to areas with deeper wrinkles and folds. Dr. Kay injects Radiesse® into your wrinkles and creases using a fine gauge needle. The needle is smaller than what is used for vaccinations, so the procedure is comfortable for most patients. A numbing agent can be applied to your skin if the sensation of the injections is unpleasant.
Preparing for Radiesse®
Radiesse® treatments take no time at all, so the appointments fit easily into your schedule. You can schedule your treatments after your consultation or call our office anytime.
Radiesse® Recovery
After your Radiesse® treatment, you see a noticeable difference in the appearance of your skin. The tiny microspheres immediately fill in many of your wrinkles and folds. Your skin continues to improve as the microspheres attract and bind to collagen. Because Radiesse® stimulates collagen production, you enjoy long-lasting results.
How Much Does Radiesse® Cost?
The cost of Radiesse® treatment is based on the number of injections that are needed during your appointment. After examining your skin during your consultation, Dr. Kay knows how many injections are needed for optimum results. You can pay by cash, personal check or credit card. We also accept CareCredit®, a financing option for patients who want convenient and affordable monthly payments for their Radiesse® treatments.
Is Radiesse® Right for Me?
Dr. Kay recommends Radiesse® treatments to his patients who are in good health and desire a non-surgical anti-aging treatment. In general, Radiesse® is appropriate for:
- Men and women between the ages of 35 and 60 years old
- Treating deeper lines around the mouth and nose, as well as the forehead area
- Patients who want an alternative to extensive facelift procedures
Dr. Kay also recommends Radiesse® for treating some scars.
